- otherwise STTM is flawless

i'm no scholar, but i think its a feasible notion that guru sahib conversed with lots of bhakti's in that time period

Let's look at this Shabad:

Guru Ji referred to Akaal Purakh as Madho, but was also talking to Madho - who was present at the scene.

The sakhi related to this Shabad is when a Bhagat was being innocently punished for something he never did (the evidence was substantial evidence ie: Wrong place wrong time). The Punishment was for him to be crushed by wooden spikes. However, due to his bhagti, the wooden spikes turned green (into plants)

Madho, with his student, went to Guru Ji to ask what happened - and Guru Ji said:

Mere Madho Jee, Sat Sangat Mille So Tarria

GurParsaad Param Pad Paya, Sookke Kaasht Hariya

As well as explaining to Madho, Guru Ji gave an updesh in this shabad about the power of Sat Sangat.

Guru Ji done many of these karaamaats with Gurbani - Dhan Guru Ji.

Both the Prof. Sahib Singh and the Faridkoti Teeka translations do not mention anything about the word Meeran being a reference to Meera Bai. There is no direct reference in the Shabad of any incident in Meera Bai's life. If anything the use of Arabic and Persian terms seems to suggest that the Shabad was addressed to a Muslim audience rather than being an allusion to a devotee of Krishna. In light of this the term Meeran is possibly a plural of Meer or Lord used as a term of respect.

Prof. Sahib Singh Ji's teeka for this tukk roughly translates to:

O Chief! O Wise One! O Purifier of Hearts! O Forever-Firm King! O Releaser of bonds! Your love and affection is dwelling/dwells within my mind and heart.
