Hope everyones ok! staying wrapped up in the freeeeeeeeeeeeezing cold?!

Can someone tell me please....whereabouts Kings College is? Is it the london bridge campus?

Also can someone wear a big orange dastaar and stand at the station so i know im in the right place??? lol - what a nice thought...

just ask for guys hospital when you get to the station. you will know you are going in the right direction as you will go past Mac Donalds.

London Singh Ji dass has to be inside im sure you can do this seva. :)

Tomorrow London Sikhi Month at City Uni

The topic DHARAM (THE SIKH PATH)

For Sikhs, the word "Dharma" means the "Path of righteousness". What is the "righteous path"? That is the question that the Gurbani (the Sikh Scriptures) answer. Why did Guru Nanak Sahib Ji come on earth? What is the need finding the 'Sat Guru' (True Guru)? Why choose to walk the Path of Sikhi?

Time and Place Date: Thursday, November 8, 2007

Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Location: Birley Lecture Hall

Station: Angel

Turn left at exit of Angel station and walk straight down the road for 5 mins. At the end of the road the building is on the opposite side of the road.

London Sikhi Month - a month of talks and discussions centred around being a sikh, the sikh way of life and the ingredients of a sikh!

this week the talk will take place at QM and the topic of discussion is:

HIMMAT (COURAGE)

What does it take to walk the Path of Truth? How can one walk the walk, talk the talk and step on the Path of Truth in a world of Falsehood? A walk through time looking at the courage of Sikh men and women in history.

come out of the station and turn left and walk straight....past the bridge...turn towards barclays building and walk straight into library square. Francis Bancroft Building is the one next to Bar Med.

could i kindly request all the non - QM students to make sure you have a university ID on you, just in case security checks are done, but we are hoping the security will not be a problem.

turnleft and walk down Gower Street >

pass main UCL building, and turn Left at Waterstones onto Byng Place>

take first left into Malet Place>

follow signs to Darwin Lect. Th. on the left after the Engineering Building.

Thursday 29th November: Sahib – Mastery (6pm to 8pm) and Langar

This is the main event of the week - as part of London Sikhi week - a life changing talk looking at the accomplishments of the sovereign Sikh community through Sikh history and how the Guru has bestowed his Sikhs as masters. What does it mean today to be a Sikh and find the Sikh path? Looking at Sikhs of the past, present and future. How will Sikhs from western hemisphere affect the Panth and lead the Sikhs into future. A free langar (food) will also be served.

WHERE: Chemical Engineering, Lecture Theatre 2.

How to get there: SOUTH KENSINGTON TUBE STATION

> Follow Subway signs to IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON

> Turn Left out of Subway and enter into Imperial

> Go to Chemical Engineering, Lecture Theatre 2.

Friday 30th November: Rehraas Sahib and Kirtan (6pm to 8pm)

End the week with the evening prayer, Rehraas Sahib and listen to the sound of beautiful Kirtan(hymns) performed by our GUEST raagi's.
