I don't know about Sant Ji, but one Singh did tell me that some Taksali Singhs say that tied and trimmed beard is the same. Oh well...

when you tie you beard, can people see it? well obviously they can tell you have beard, but its tied, so they cant really see how long or what not.

when people have cut beards, or trimmed, can people see how long their beard is?
