Mines really boring, i asked my mum why they called me Harpreet, apparently it's because it sounded nice!

But this is a good excuse to ask, does anyone know what my name means, some people have said it means to love everyone Har - Preet, but others have said it means to love god...

The Guru's Sikh keeps the Love of the Lord, and the Name of the Lord, in his mind. He loves You, O Lord, O Lord King.

I have a twin bro, and my letter frm the hukamnama came out as an A. Our word was Abinasee, so my bro was meant to be a B coz he was born last, but nobody wanted his name to begin with b, grin.gif so they gave him a too. So I got Amrit and he got Ajit - which is really annoying coz we get called the AA twins tongue.gif

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Like Bhai Uttam Singh Ji I was also named by a Sant Mahapursh who visited our home and blessed us with their holy presence two days after I was born.

Mahapursh took a hukamnama and wrote it on a piece of paper, which my mother keeps in her room. Under the hukamnama he wrote my name - Rajinder Singh.

(Uttam Singh Ji maybe we were named by the same Mahapursh who was 'ik mik' with Waheguru?)

Guest wallace singh

My log-in here is my pre-amrit Christian baptismal name plus Singh.

SGGSJ gave me Bh at amrit. I chose Bhavjeet because the description of the translation seemed like a powerful message. From the reactions that I've gotten, it's apparently an unusual choice.
