Until a person is in a school or he is about the age of 17-18, a patka looks alright. After that it just looks weird for a sikh with a dhari wearing a patka. I stopped wearing a patka when i finished my school, now i wish maybe i should have tied a dastaar sometimes in school too. Lets just put it this way patkas on adults dosnt look nice.

Surinderjit u gotta tell me how to tie an african or englandi dastaar, i have been trying it for ages but lol it dosnt look anything like an african or englandi style dastaar.

Is small rumal around your joora (flower type) acceptable inside gurdwara sahib? I dont think that covers your head at all .
