Had a little search and I know there are some Sikhs in Sweden, particularly Stockholm.

What I would like to know is whether there would be any problem with me getting on to a plane from England and flying over there?

Should I be expect to be stop/searched at the the airport onwards?

What are the people like? And their attitudes to Sikhs?

Are there any places I should stay away from or be aware of?

Do police stop and search you?

Would I be questioned about my turban?

Planning to go there for a holiday. Don't know what it's going to be like so any and all information is welcome.

Sweden is a beautiful place with very friendly people overall.

Police dont stop and search you randomly. Only if you act suspicsiously. In Stockholm, there are a few Sikhs there already. There are also Gurdwaras already there. Many Singhs from Afghanistan have taken up homes in Sweden and are really very pleasant and kind.

Its a lot like the United Kingdom over there. A lot cleaner than the UK and definitely more pleasant. Hope you enjoy your trip. If you need place to stay or anything, please message me and we can help you out.
