Concert In Gurdwara

Do you think its right to get a Gurdwara hall and then hold a concert in it when you could easily do Kirtan in Gurus Darbar?

Is this not a violation of maryada?

I hard Raj Academy are holding yet another concert in a gurdwara

Concerts are for theater type halls. They should never be held in the Guru's house.

Raj Academy's mission is one in which it should be in gurughars... the need to, at the very least, ENCOURAGE raag is huge... it'd be better if it was like.. a hands on workshop... if it's an actual concert...where it's just music and no baani.. then i dunno, i'm torn...

music has a big impact on the mind... but ultimately Guru's House is for Guru's Words, i think.

Its hypocritical to say you are preaching gurmat when you opt to do kirtan in a hall and get everyone to sit on chairs when you would do it in darbar in Guru hajoori 2 feet away
