Nope as long as you don't ritualise it and add pakhand ,whats all the pakhand about lighting a certain colour candle, and sitting on a certain chadar

the candle thing was just about lighting

use a lamp or bulb its fine, Baba Ji didn't have electricity thats all. The Singhs were just saying it so that he had full concentration while reading.

Same reason they used Jots in the old times. I have been told this sort of thing by proper Gurmukh Saints, and they have said its stupid to say that a Jot has spiritual significance as the true Jot is BANI itself.

is there a reason (apart from sant xyz said so) why the specefic bani chandi dee vaar, cannot be recited at night, unless it is done so all night? and why the chaddar has to be white? and why there has to be a jyot?

also people have recited chandi dee vaar at night, and not read it all through the night, and nothing has happened to them?

it doesnt make sense, why a specific bani, is not allowed to be read at night, unless read all night? surely reading bani, how ever many times is a good thing?
