unfortunately i only started watching it at half past 8 when the segment on Panjabi immigrants was coming to an end, good programme though, looking forward to next week's.

Does anyone here think that the uk will be able to maintain its social cohesiveness, as there are i think personally way to many immigrants in the uk now, with too many varying backgrounds which is a potential for problems like for example the recent lozells riots with pakistani's rioting against blacks

Because , i think, all of the white people in the US and Canada are also recent immigrants of that country.

Agreed. But it seems to me llike there is more than that involved.

well i guess the whites have been living since 5-6 centuries in americas, and sikhs since a centruy..

so its a ratio of 1:6-7

so its still quiter true

because if whites are leaving in canada since 7 years then sikhs are for 1 year...

i mean like this is a big difference where whites are the original habitants of it

The issue of white immigrants entering the country does nothing to address why the patterns of violence are not as predominant, its the environment and structural policies that influence interpersonal violence.
