but Punjabi is still a majority Sikh state and has strength from the SIkh foundation and was built on a sikh foundaiton.

To clarify, the Hindu Conference of Canada supports extensive police investigations into Sikh temples where terrorist ideologies are being preached and terrorist icons are being displayed. All such temples must, following investigation, be shut down for national security purposes... and because of the presence of possible terrorist forces in the premises, armed police and military must be used in the enforcement of these judicial orders. Canada must follow the example of democratic India, where in 1984 the Army was used to liberate the Golden Temple in Amritsar from Sikh terrorist forces...following extensive investigations and legitimate approval from the courts.

We hope to see a just replication of the 1984 Golden Temple action by Canadian military forces here in Canada. As a suspected site of terrorist activity, this Darbar must be a prime target in such investigations and possible follow-up military action.

Premier McGuinty visited India on a taxpayer funded junket, which focussed on PUNJAB (where Sikhs come from) and PAKISTAN ... two regions which supply lots of immigrants (and terrorists) to Canada. Now, in the first quote you seem to imply that Amrtidharis will by default rule a future Khalistan. But of course in the second quote you mention Maharaja Ranjit Singh's rule. Now, Raja Ranjit Singh was not an Amritdhari by any stretch of the imagination, but he is rightly regarded as the greatest Sikh post-Guru period.

So, my question to you is: would you be happy living in a Khalistan/Sikh State where Amritdharis were not necessarily in charge? (Providing it was a just rule by Sikhs who have the best interests of the Quam at heart).

muzamdar, i think the state, being a sikh state, should be ruled by amrtidharis and sikhs, but open to all people, without discrimination regardless of religion

in a nation like khalistan there would deffo need to be two types of rulers

one to lead the state, in political economic affairs, just as any president or prime minister. though it wud be ideal, i don't think this persn should necessarily be an amritdhari gursikh

and another leader to lead the panth in religious affairs. this person would obviously be an amritdhari gursikh

When it comes to the National Presidency, the best man/woman for the job (regardless of Sikhi level) who is democratically elected by the people.

When it comes to religious affairs and guiding the faithful, the best man/woman for the job would of course be an Amritdhari democratically elected by the people.
