Controversies are being created with only one object in mind, and that is to defame takht sri Hazoor Sahib. Every individual is money minded....so please let the celebrations pass amicably. This is a grand oppotunity to let the world know...that Sikhs are one 'quam' and Guruji gave gurgaddi to only sri Guru Granth Sahib.

The celebrations would put Guru Granth Sahib on world map as the only Guru of Sikhs and sole successor of Guru Nanak Guru Gobind Singh.

Sangat should donate as much money as they can.......if it is misused by some corrupt 'babas' dunno worry, satguru will make them pay for their sins.

Also don't be arrogant in thinking that Hazoor Sahib needs money from Sikhs...it is satguru who gives money to Sikhs and not vice versa. Montek Singh Alhuwalia (finance secretary to govt of india) under Manmohan Singh (pm of india) has already approved a grant of 1100 crores for mega projects in nanded for tri-cenetary celebrations. Central govt has also approved Guru Gobind Singh marg starting from Damdama Sahib to Nanded, spanning the route by which Guruji went from Bathinda to Nanded.

Excellent post. There will not be another opportunity as big as this one for prachaar for some time. It should be supported.

yea, i fully agree with blati, supporting Sri Akal Sahib, Sikh Rehit Maryada has now become personal agenda cause most of sikhs have been infected by personal maryadas of different sects, each claiming to be superior to others.

nanaksar is one of many termite like sects, which flurishes upon sikh masses and have looks of sikhs but are eating sikhism from inside.

i dont see gatray/kirpan with any so called brahmgyanis/sants of them, (even they wear microscopic kirpans) they r happy to tour foreign countries after removing them,

sikh panth had two important principles DEGH-TEGH, they have demolishes both, their thaats dont have langar and they dont have teghs.

sikhism doesnt give importance to any color, but they claim white to be sacred.

they dont name schools/institutes after Guru Sahib, but their names start from ISHAR.

The wall that was built around the Chhote Sahibzade was knocked down, where were you then........SGPC and missionaries are working to destroy our spiritual heritage, more important than buildings and you say nothing!! Why the double standards!!

Also note that the construction and demolition going on at Nanded is not under the control of the Jathedar at Hazur Sahib itself.

ik Sapp (snake) nu Sapp kehna nindya nahi, Ik phul nu kanda kehna nindya hai, this nindya word is very often used to rubbish someone who speaks against these sects.

according to Mahan Kosh by Bhai Kahn SIngh Nabha, Nindya means "gunaa vich dosh thapan da karam"

and coming to HERITAGE concern of yours, so now those sanatani-agenda filled paintings (only around 100-150 years old) are our heritage now?

do you even know the present building of Sri Harmandir Sahib is not in its original form, it has been attacked and demoslished a number of times.

then why did taksal demolished WHOLE Sri Akal takht Sahib building in post 1984 time, atleast in kar seva of Baba Santa Singh the original bulding of Guru Sahib time was intact, they even demoslished the original structure and were going to demolish the one portion which in in Glass enlcosure now, directly under Parkash of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib at Sri Akal Takht Sahib. And they also wanted to get Sri Akal takht Sahib get straight in face of Sri Harmandir Sahib (Sri akal Takht Sahib is not facing parallel to Sri harmandir Sahib, it angled a bit, then due to intervention of some gursikh they didnt demolish that small portion of old bricks and didnt straighten it.

The building of Sri Akal Takht Sahib was made bY Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji & Baba Budha ji with their own hands, now tell me, which is real heritage? a painting just 100-150 years old or a structure of Sri Akal Takht Sahib made by Guru ji Himself?

and about the so called wall which was built around chottay sahibzaday, your history knowledge seems to be on low side.

a wall WAS bulit around chottay sahibzaday, but when it got high, the wall broke down and later "zihba" was done to chottay sahibzaday, no one was willing to do it, (its same as was done to daniel peral). so mughals had two brother in prison on death sentence, they finalised the deal with them that if they kill sahibzaday they will be pardoned and they agreed.

and after tht incident the mughals ruled sirhind untill Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Came and demolished it.

so you think mughals kept that wall intact as a sovnier? or even sikhs after tht didnt touch tht wall? if if we think wall was reason of shaheedi, wudnt sikhs hv demolished it cause it was the cause of shaheedi????

SGPC itself is very esteemed organisation but the irony is that its in control of kukarmis who doesnt follow sikhi tehmselves, but who is to be blamed?

if these taksals/sampardas'/sant samaj/nanaksar/other deras hv done so much parchar and as per dhadrianwalay hv given Amrit di daat to lakhs of humans, they why cant they defeat these corrupt SGPC Members? or even the Akali dal MLAs????? and bring their own panthic leaders? why?

The taksal destroyed the akal takhat hey? hmmm so much for talking about the panth, i thought that the panth had gathered as sarbat khalsa and the panth had decided to rebuilt the akal takhat by first taking down the one rebuilt by santa singh using govt money and helpers.

that whole action was done on the basis of the kharkhoo singhs, the ones who gave the kurbania, they decided that the panth's throne should not be built by those sitting on delhis throne or her subjects and followers. youve shown your 'panthic' colours havent u toofan. all the singh soorme were wrong, and your right lol !

and as for the sgpc, from what i understand, the sarbat khalsa disbanded the sgpc didnt they? can someone confirm? so if this is true, the sgpc are not even a legal body as far as gurmat is concerned. during the kharkhoo days nobody bothered with the sgpc! they only started off again after all the singhs gave shaheedia ... what does that say to you?

All this 300 saaal thing is an excuse so many historical and important buildings have been torn down and more are being torn down as we speak OUR HERITAGE, old trees from the Gurus times have been chopped down and sold as wood and for what ? A stupid modern hotel which has no history and will be used for a week at most by visitors - SHAME ON THE HAZOOR SAAB JATHEDHAR FOR ALLOWING THIS,I APPEAL TO ALL SIKHS WORLD WIDE DO NOT GIVE NO CASH DONATIONS FOR THE 300 YEAR CAUSE

it was a time when panth was in shock/anger and was following taksal because of Shaheed Bhai Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale being from Taksal.

you can clearly see from post-84 pictures of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, tht building was partially destroyed, and Baba Santa Singh (have some shame, he is no more, was elder to you and mukhi of Budha dal) got it repaired (the damaged part).

(pasricha is also using govt money at Takht Sri Hazur Sahib, isnt he? like u claim from Baba Santa Singh's Kar Seva)

here is a news piece " The structure and design of Akal Takht were changed without taking the Sikh Panth into confidence while carrying out ‘kar seva’ by Damdami Taksal after Operation Bluestar. The Taksal owes an explanation to the Sikhs as to why the old structure was not kept intact."

taksal changed the design of Sri Akal Takht Sahib on their own.
