I feel that this is a very good question. These days we have so many "sants", "brahamgyanis", "satguru" who instead of fighting against injustice are linked with corrupt political parties. There is so much suffering in this world but noone is ready to fight it out. I feel that this is the difference between a fake sant and a true sant. A true sant AUTOMATICALLY becomes a sipahi and fights against injustice. Thats what Baba Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale by picking up Shastars against injustice.

On the other hand, in the 80's and 90's so much blood shed happened in Punjab but "guru" or radhasoamis and "satguru" of namdharis remained quiet which shows they are fake and pakhandi and are government sponsored.

A true sant sees God in EVERY human being and fights for the welfare for the entire humanity.

It all depends on vahiguroo. Whatever hakums vahiguroo at that moment gives(different roles and nature holding those roles) they follow it . There are three different natures of mahapursh - daane, divane, mastainey, avastha is same..according to vahiguroo's hakum they mingle and stay in this world.

It's also silly to compare all sant mahapursh with sant jarnail singh bhindranwale as each sants are given different roles/hakum by vahiguroo himself. Sant jarnail singh bhindranwale took nivas at golden temple and started dharam yudh morcha only only after he got darshan of sri dasam patsah at hazoor sahib, after he got deliverance by satguru gobind singh ji maharaj himself not before.

It's extremely naive to suggest that around that time beside sant jarnail singh bhindranwale there were no other true sant who had guts or avastha to take thiis seva that sant ji did. This has nothing to do with avastha, but it has everything to do with "hakum" of vahiguroo. Jathedar mahinder singh ji jarg sahib himself gave future prediction of sant ji future on first sight when they came to rara sahib before taking nivas by clapping their hand - aagya sant soorma.!
