I heard that part, but what I was asking was what is your motive behind posting this highlighting that specific part? What do you want to know?

Kara does ward off evil. I have seen it with my own eyes once, a ghost had possessed someone and that person was trying to talk my amritdhari friend into taking off his kakkars, especially kara, kirpan and simarna.

Just because something does not fit your version of Sikhi, does not mean it's wrong. There are millions of things we don't know.
