Gurdwara Scandal - Singh Sabha Uk (havelock Road, Southall)

Recommended Posts

What your about to read is 100% true. I have proof to support my claim.

Bascically, many gurdwaras nowadays have a matrimonial service which is supposed to help Sikhs find a partner for marraige. The Gurdwara recently held a "Mix N Mingle" event which was held at Days hotel in Ruislip.

Ok here's the thing, there were Hindu guys and girls there. Have Sikhs in general lost the plot? Im my opinion the answer would be a resounding Yes. You may argue that there are plenty of Sikh/Hindu dating events organised where any1 can attend if they purchase a ticket. However, these events are organised by people who are making money from a business. The Sikhs who attend these events are pathetic in the leaset, but when the gurdwara organises such an event where they are openly letting Hindus come and get our girls, this cannot be tolerated. Why not also invite other men from other religons to meet our girls, because that is what they are condoning.

What the hell is going on with the committee? What is going on with Sikhs in Southall ,allowing this to happen? Do Mandirs have events where Sikhs can attend and try and marry Hindu girls? Before you ask, No the Hindus there, were not seeing only Hindus for marraige.

Sikhs have become pathetic. We need to sort this situation before it gets out of control and the numbers of non-Sikhs going to these events. We can stop this if we act now. I hope the major Sikh organisations take this issue extremely seriously.

There was a recent post about a Sikh guy who's sister legged it with a Hindu and got married. Some people on the forum were blaming parents for not educating their kids about Sikhi (I agree with this), however if our own gurdwaras are organising for this situation to openly happen, let alone behind our backs, what is that saying?

I have attached the document that was emailed to people who wanted to attend the event. Look at the bottom of the page. Yet another shocking revelation - a Facebook group - Sikh & Hindu Punjabi Matrimonial service.

How do you know there were Hindus at the event? Did you do a Hindu test on them?

And so what if there is a Sikh and Hindu Punjabi facebook group?

Do you want to institute some kind of legislation against Sikhs and Hindus being friends?

Lets write to MPs demanding an end to this evil.

The taliban in Afghanistan have the right ideas.

Did you read my post carefully? The Facebook group is a "MATRIOMONIAL" group. READ IT. I was at the event. You clearly have a relative in your family who is hINDU, HENCE WHY YOU DEFEND HINDUS attending the event. You are NO Sikh. You can obtain the list from the gurdwara who attended the event. I met Hindu guys myself, Is that proof?

Are you only frightened about Hindu men meeting Sikh girls, or do Sikh men meeting Hindu women frighten you as well?

Also, when you say 'our girls', do you think that you have part-ownership of every Sikh girl, as if she is an animal or buffalo that we all have a stake in?

I mean, do you walk down a street and see a Sikh girl and think that you have ownership rights over her?

Also, like I asked earlier, did you do a Hindu test on all the people at the function? Let us know your evidence. I want photographs and birth certificates to prove it. Only when we have such evidence can we move to the next stage.

Which is of course, the ritual rounding up of all our girls, and placing them in a house-prison with a moat around it, steel doors, no telephones. They will only be allowed out of that prison-house with the permission of random Sikh men like you and me, who have part-ownership of them.

This is a great idea. Let's start working on it.

It's quite clear you are a Hindu or non-sikh. In the Rehat Maryada it clearly states a Sikh can only marry a Sikh. Not a Hindu like you.

How can you speak about whether I have a Hindu in my family with so much violent surety?

And when did God grant you psychic powers to see that I an 'NO Sikh'

And when were you granted the power of declaring whether someone is a Sikh or not? That's an excellent power to have, I am so jealous. You are like judge, jury and executioner, it's amazing.

Please let me know I want to share in these superpowers. Can you spin webs and swing through the air like Spiderman too?

if people on the matrimonial list are listed as Hindu, is the gurdwara lying about that.

Hey, how do I know you're not a Hindu? Or a Muslim?

See, two people can play at this futile game.

Anyway, lets assume that there are Hindus on that list, what form of action should be taken. Convince me and let me know, I might join you in your protest if you are convincing enough.

Let me know what you think should be done.

Answer the following question:

Is it ok for a Sikh to marry a non-Sikh according to the Rehat Maryada and the teachings of Sikhi?

Y are your posts defending Hindus?

Y would you now be willing to co operate with me regarding the issue I raise, since you thought it ok in the first place?

    • If relationship with Guru is strong, then kanga is done twice a day, and turban should never be taken off or put on like a hat, there is a lot wrong with that as it is against rehit! maryada is to take off every layer of turban/pagh/dumalla individually, and tie fresh turban each time!
    • the whole 'your husband/wife is chosen for you'/sanjog thing is real, it's just that a lot of people end up marrying the wrong person. they did not end up with the person that was meant for them. my friend, you should marry someone who you feel a connection with and love. there are millions of sikh girls, i'm sure you can find someone who aligns with your sensibilities and who you can truthfully say that you love. sikhi does not say anything against love marriages. you can also be in a loveless arranged marriage which is a safe option b/c both families are more inclined to keep the union intact. i was one of those people who was like meh, i guess i'll just get arranged to some sikh. well i finally started dating for the first time this year and i'm getting married to someone that i love and cannot even imagine leaving. i think it's better to have lost & lost than never loved at all. unfortunately, a lot of people confuse love w/ looks & lust. a lot of men go for the fittest girl they can find and think they won the jackpot or something. in reality, your partner should be like an extremely loved best friend. there's a reason why it's a fact that the most stable and long-lasting relationships started as friendships.  i also think a lot of women are petty and divorce over small reasons, but there's other terrible things like high cheating rates as well. that's why the divorce rate in the west is high. be careful out there.
    • andrew tate praises sikhi too & likes sikhs. his brother also donated to sikh families iirc. they just like any "alpha" religion and tbh islam is the most "alpha" in their eyes. islam is very good at promoting that image. but imo a real alpha man doesn't command respect by beating up his wive(s) or forcing them to wear a burqa. a real man will have his woman listen to him w/o raising a hand or his voice, and command respect by being respectful. he leads by example and integrity. that's true masculinity. you get the idea. + yes, it's definitely true that islam is growing rapidly and making massive inroads. strength in numbers + belief will do that. but rlly it's just because of the birth rate. a lot of them are muslim b/c it's their "identity" just like how a lot of young sikhs will say they're "culturally sikh" or whatever. there just aren't billions of sikhs who lambast their identity everywhere and have strict and linear rules like in islam. besides, the reality is that islam and its followers are some of the most morally bankrupt. you can see all the weird trans rules in iran, bacche baazi in afghanistan, visiting brothels, watching p*rn, p*dophilia what goes on behind the scenes in countries like uae & qatar, etc, and come to your conclusions. you can google all the stats yourself and see which countries do the most of these ^.
    • stop associating with hinduism, that's the absolutely worst thing you can do as a sikh. not sure if you noticed but the entire world looks down upon and spits at india & hindus, literally no one respects them and considers them weak and cowardly. literally 1+ billion of them but not perceived as a strong religion commandeering respect.
    • you wrote a whole lot but told us nothing. what exactly did you do wrong to make you feel this way?
