Sikh Federation UK is trying to add 'Sikh' to the clause but it is proving hard for Sikhs to do so,lets hope the govt ok's it,I never put Indian down, either British Sikh/Panjabi Sikh or 'Other' but never ever put Indian down as ethnic origin as we are not and never will be Indian our conscience is still alive - Sikhs are recongisde as a seperate race by the UK House of Lords and are under law given special protection just like the Jews are so why can this not be recognised?

interesting but by putting down "sikhs" it does not state ethnic orientation. we can have white and black sikhs as well, or maybe chinese sikhs. the term is ethnic orientation not religion. would punjabi would be better where Pakistani Punjabis can fit in as well ?
