Fateh Jee,

Saadh sangat jee, when talking to a Singh Sabha Canada gurnindak, I was asked some questions to which dass doesn't know the answer.

1) Who is Mahakaal from the famous tuks "Mahakaal Kaalika Aaradhee"?

Chumkeh Kirpaannung Abhoot Bheyannung Dhunnung Naivrayung Ghurung Ghungrayunnung 31 Chattur Bah Chaarung Nejootung Sudhaarung Gdaa Paas Sohung

Mahakal’s sword shines. It is very scary. Anklets smash and small bells in his feet clatter. 31. He has four beautiful arms. The hair is tied in a knot on head. The mace which he has is astonishing. It intrigues the hearts of messengers of death. 32.

His tongue is red; resembling fire from a volcano. His grinding teeth are scary. Drums and conches are sounding. They produce a whistling sound simil

They produce a whistling sound similar to the high tide waves in oceans. 33. His dark face looks befitting. It is the house of honorable. His look is beautiful. It is purer than it can be imagined. 34.

What is the meaning behind this sangat ji,

BTW, I in no way question Dasam Pita's bani.

Mahakaal means kaal ton vi wadda and kaal ton wadda sirf akaal purakh aaa.

There are 4 types :

Mahakaal (akaal purakh)

Kaal (death)

Mahakaal (shiv)

Arpkaal

Kaal means death

Mahakaal means shiv and mahakaal at the end also means akaal purakh like in chaupi sahib its written,

"makaal rakhwaar hamaaro"

Here mahakaal is referd to as akaal purakh.

Southall Fauj,

The two quotes you give are not from the same shabad !

Mahakaal Kaalika Aaradhee - From Bachittar Natak, Mahakaal is AkaalPurkh, the big-kaal, the Kaal of Kaal - the creator of Death.

The second quote is not from the same shabad, you should ask the person asking the qustion where this shabad is from, i am not famillier with it but it could be from a number of compositions from Dasam Granth.

You say "Mahakal’s sword shines. It is very scary......." but from the quote you give Mahakaal is not mentioned, this could be a description about some one totally different.

This is how they try to confuse us. First they ask who is Mahakaal, then they say why is Mahakaal described thus, but that second quote looks to me like from a different composition and could be refering to someone else, we need the full shabad to understand what Sahib Ji are telling us.

That verse is from Bachitra natak. mahakal means Akal purakh.

In the beginning of bachitra natak there is Sri Kal ji Ki ustat. When we read this it is clear that Guru sahib is praisng God or akal purkah. Chhand 17 mentions about Mahakal in the same way as is mentioned in the quote given above.

He is the Most Effulgent of all lights and Supreme Conflagration of all fires. He is the Supreme Spell of all incantations and Supreme embodiment of Death over all such powers.17.

He holds the bow in His left hand and the terrible sword (in the right). He is the Supreme Effulgence of all lights and sits in His Great Glory.

He, of Infinite Splendour, is the masher of of the boar-incarnation with great grinder tooth. He crushed and devoured thousands of the creatures of the world.18.

The tabor (in the hand of Great Death (KAL) resounds and the black and white canopy swings. Loud laughter emanates from his mouth and the weapons (in his hands) glisten.

His conch produces such a terrible sound that appears like the blazing fire of the Death on doomsday.19.

Bachitra natak, Dasam Granth

In the shabad below Guru sahib mentions about God as Maha kal. This is a way of defining God by his functoinal names. If he brings us up he is called Gopal , if he is kind he called dayal . If he brings death he is called kal or mahakal.

These uneducated people of anti sikh organization singh sabha canada are not able to understand this. They are hardened anti religion people and communists. They do not listen to reasoning. One of their thugs active on internet calls himself kHalsa fauj. He is given this name on purpose to mislead people. in fact he is the guy who is doing most uncivilized propaganda against bani of Dasam pita.

RASAAVAL STANZA BY THY GRACE

The sword of KAL glistens, which is Non-elemental and terrible.

While moving, his anklets rattle and the small bells jingle.31.

He hath four winsome arms and on his head, his long hair have been bound in a lovely knot.

The mace with him appears splendid, which fascinate the honour of Yama.32.

His tongue red like fire seems magnificent and his grinder teeth are very frightening.

His conches and drums resound like the thundering sound of the sea. 33.

It is important to know who is this sunny? Is he sunny singh doad? if he is the same man then it is not possible to educate him.

This harman mann is same as khalsa fauj. He is not fully grown up yet. Our father Guru Gobind singh ji

apart from being our Guru was a literary giant and philosopher. His writings are very deep and quite complex.

So kids like khalsa fauj and his friends are not able to understand that.

Writing akal purakh by descritibng his features is a branch of knowledge called anthropomorphism. This is called

describing someone who is not human by human characteristics which has been used in bani of SGGS and extensively

in Dasam Granth sahib.

Khalsa fauj is going from site to site abusing Guru sahib's writings in filthiest language. he has no other work except he is whole

time employed anti sikh forces for propaganda. Do not ever believe what he says.

I do not understand why he is asking you when we have shown it to his buddy khalsa fauj a number of times.

It was also shown here that word mahkala comes in SGGS also. But unny singh doad is more a follower of so called khalsa

Fauj than a sikh of guru gobind singh ji.

This heretic khalsa fauj does not recite banis of nitnem and calls himself a khalsa. He does not believe in Jaap sahib yet he writes himself a khalsa.

These people are liars. Their main aim is to mislead sangat.
