the Sakhi of Bhai Gopal Ji would serve well another less known Sakhi is the one about Yakub Khan

Well a while back some Sikhs went to Pakistans house to the president and amazingly he had the Mool Mantr on a plaque hanging on his wall

the Sikhs finally not being able to withstand from asking had to let their curiosity get the better of them

they asked y he has the Mool Mantr up as he is a Muslim

he said that when he was young he didnt study had he was very nalak very bad in school but basically he had problems learning because he was scared to death of the teachers

the teachers would hit him every day and they would insult him and put him down so much so that he would do anything to avoid going to school

what happened was he would go and hide out in the Gurudwara and stay there all day

one day a granthi found him and asked what was wrong

he said i cant go to school im nalaik and i get beaten

the granthi then gave him the Mool Mantr

he said to do it everyday and he promises you will never suffer beatings in life

the next day he did the Mool Mantr before school

that was teh first time he did not get beaten

from that day on he was never slapped by a teacher

at this time president, Yakub Khan told those Sikhs that what I am today the Sole reason for my success is the mool mantr - Waheguru

all saints do lost of mool mantar. mool mantar, its the mool (root) of everything.

to name a few, baba nand singh ji, along with other nanaksar wale mahapursh, sant attar singh ji, all the taksaali saints, kar seva wale mahapursh, rara sahib wale mahapursh, baba ajit singh ji hansaliwale.

baba harnam singh ji rampurkhera, they used to do 51 mala's everyday while doing kheti too. they used to be on their tractor with a mala in 1 hand, doing mool mantar. they used to do the sava lakh (125,000) mool mantars in 40 day period, and they did ardaas of sava lakh every forty days, like this was part of their nitnem routine. they sometimes used to add sampat's to the mool mantar. like various saloks throughout gurbani and add that to mool mantar and do sava lakh that way, which is like incredibly powerfull.

giani thakur singh ji patiale wale, while staying in baba jarnail singh ji's jatha back in the day, giani ji used to do 66 mala's of mool mantar in nitnem routine.
