“The British Sikh Student Federation expresses its disappointment and condemnation of the proposed cap on student visas by the Immigration Minister Damien Green.

Kirat Raj Singh, General Secretary of BSSF said: “International students bring in money, innovation and good diplomatic connections, three things the UK needs right now. International students are an opportunity. They will help, not hinder, the UK’s economic recovery. We call on Damien Green, Immigration Minister to withdraw its proposal on the cap which will inevitably harm the British economy aswell the international reputation of British Universities.”

The British Sikh Student Federation extends its full support to the National Union of Students campaign against the proposed cap on student visa’s and is committed to the needs of International students ensuring their voices are heard and our concerns are recognised.

I fully support the UK Govt on this issue and believe tougher policies on immigration should be implemented as soon as possible tax payers such as myself have suffered enough under Labours Immigrant welfare state. Its time we made Britian Great again by throwing out those who take advantage be they our own people, the muslims or anyone else who takes advantage and does not respect our country. The majority are bogus students all we have to do is watch sky1 UK Border Force,I want all the afghans,so called freshies who have no respect for their religion let alone the UK for taking care of them all they do is sell their land get drunk and get laid - disgraces this applies to all immigrants not just our people the bengals, paks, afghans, iraqis and what not - send them all back we've paid enough tax as it is,and the gd news is Ian Duncan Smith is slashing benefits soon so a good sign all these leeches who come here will go back to their countries.
