Bhai Harjit Singh (Chowk Mehta Wale)

Last Sunday at the NIKIAAN JINDANN WADDE SAAKEA event in Hayes UK there was a Bhai Harjit Singh (Chowk Mehta Wale) who was dressed as an Akali warrior. His style of doing keertan was really good. Has anyone got anymore of his keertan on the net?? Where's Chowk Mehta??

Gurdwara Gurdarshan Parkash, lies at Chowk Mehta (or just Mahta) and is the head quarter of Damdami Taksal (Jatha Binderan). It is in Amritsar district, near Baba Bakala tehsil (i guess about 50 km east of Amritsar city). I assume you have heard of Taksal.

I did not realise Chowk Mehta is the same Mehta where D.D.T are. Thanks.

I'll check gursikhijeevan.com out as it will probably have his keertan if he's from the Taksal.

I met him also..He is pretty awesome. His son also does wicked kirtan..when I his son read/sing gurbani from the dasam granth I was like...

He was pretty amazing!

The Singh is not actually from damdami taksal, he just lives in the area near mehta chowk.
