Kamaye Before Amrit.

I have always got told that when someone takes Amrit all their sins are erased. So if a person has done seva and kamaye (earned spiritual wealth) is that also erased after you have taken Amrit? Or dose you kameye stay with you and only your sins are erased?

lol only your sins are erased all kamaee etc. helps you to remove any metaphorical build up of dirt so it helps like amrit does, kamaee can't be removed.

Think of it as number line, from -10 to 10.

-10 being all the sins you have made in pervious lives and this life.

0 being you have done no sins, but you haven’t made any progress.

And 10 being you are in sachkhand. :D

Ok so when you are born you start off at -10, because of your mistakes. And as you get older you do seva, and kamaye, and that you can say puts your soul at -8 or -7. But your aim is to get to 10! It is very hard for your soul to do, because you have to go from -9,-8,-7...... which is a long way. And your karma are that bad that it will take a VERY long time.

So when you take Amrit, your soul has that leap from -10 to 0. So now your soul is fresh, and you can make a greater progress to get to 10!

So your kamaye before amrit helps your soul to get clean, but taking amrit gives you that extra leap. And kamaye after that is just you being even closer to Waheguru!

Where was the paap scale for the soul when Sri Waheguru ji created the universe? Is a soul already a sinner( having -10) when it is created by Sri Waheguru ji? If so, what did the soul do when it was not even in existence to be a sinner? How do we get the human form according to Gurmat, if we are already sinners (-10)? And how can a soul come into human form, with -10 when Sri Japji Sahib say by your actions you will be liberated?

Everyone is born as pure beings it is the worldly teachings that drift a person off track (Akal Purakhs play). Satguru says all actions are false without Guru Sahib. Why discriminate between good and evil when Akal Purakh does all. The doubt Satguru is speaking about here is the ego of the mind that say i do the good. Guru Sahib is telling us to do that which is Guru Sahib's Hukam (keep hair uncut, do paath, help others, etc) and after completing the action bow your head to him, the Creator and praise him for giving you the opportunity to practice his hukam(Chaupai Sahib, is saying Sri Waheguru ji you are the power behind my actions and lift the disease of the mind from me). A Sikh does not look toward his good deeds (as a form of accomplishments). These are useless. They are worth a diamond (but like the diamond the soul will be destroyed with the universe) if you want to get to heaven a lower realm. But for Sachkhand, a true Sikhs aim, is Sri Waheguru ji. One good deed turns into a million paaps. Concentrate on Satguru. Focus on the feet of Satguru and never lift your head.
