My throat gets very dry and I need to drink water constantly. In India we keep water bottles with us. Esp. at a rainsabai we have one. I am new to Canada. Is it o.k. for me to have a water bottle in rainabai or do they not allow it in Canada? Just asking because some people here at strict and get mad fast. Thank You

Why don't you get up when your thirsty? If we start allowing water in darbar sahib, then in 5 years time we'd be wanting to serve langar too

if it is a medical condition then I dont see our Guru getting upset over, He knows. otherwise sit at the back if you need to take a bottle. Eating/drinking in darbar is not a crime, or disrespectable, but in keeping with the theme of Guru's Darbar, one should not do it unneccessarily.

next people would get in a flap over babies drinking milk from bottles in darbar.
