In the Chaupa Singh rehitnama the following is written:

He [Guru Gobind Singh at a young age] listened to other poetic works (apart from hanuman natak) and to katha which Devi Das delivered. During this same period he hunted and practised with dagger and sword. In S.1734 (1677) he composed the Jaap and Sri Akal Ustat.

the 36 jug of arbad narbad dhundhukaara was where guru ji meditated on waheguru. was this in anandpur or hajoor?

o, and what do people think of the word france in akaal ustat. i think that prof sahib singh and all the translations have got this wrong.
