Sikh Channel And Wrong Parchar Yet Again

I was watching sikh channel today monday 28th march and there was a show on and there was some singh presenting, along with him there was another singh and a bibi, i do not know what the show was called, but it was the only live show on at that time 8pm-9pm

What i dont understand is how can they put people on tv who dont even know the maryada themsevles, this guy was claiming that we should only read 3 banis a day etc regardless of the phone calls, this guy still said its only 3 banis according to some book it was written in.

Sikh channel along with the other channels need to first look and see exactly what kind of pachariks they are putting on the tv, as anyone can turn around and say well we only need to read 3 banis beacuse it was on sikh channel. But however people forget then when guru maharaj created amrit, their were 5 singhs of whom each singh read 1 bani which = 5 banis in the nitnem for the morning. 7 in total for the whole day.

I do benti to the sikh media channels, to make sure they know the parchar of the people who are presenting shows before letting them go on.

Maybe someone here watched the program and knows the persons name? Surely this is big issue and wrong advice.

Sri Akal Takht Sahib has made it absolutely clear that Sikh Rehat Maryada includes full 5 morning Baanis as part of daily nitnem so there is no question of any confusion. See the Hukamnama issued on 24th April, 1985:

If you don't complain to the Sikh Channel, these unwise and inappropriate indivduals will keep appearing on discussion shows and keeping making flawed comments which lead to confusion in the sangat. Sikh Channel do not vet anyone but if enough people have an issue with the content of the show than it sways them in that direction.

Sikh Channel didn't show that terrible Ramgharia Sikh Temple Birmingham Panth Time show again after some sangat complained regarding many offensive comments made by the panel members, likewise Sikh Channel didn't repeat the Live Youth Show on Committees after some influential committee members complained.

So the thing to do is raise your voice!

The disappointing thing about Sikh Channel is that it is not guided by Gurmat as to what is right or wrong. It just follows those that make the loudest noise, with the typical Punjabi herd mentality. These people that are making incorrect Maryada statements are very scheming and try to get involved in all Panthic institutions. We can only counter them by the silent majority not staying silent, waking up and taking a stand. Everyone call Sikh Channel to complain.

The youth seem to think they need to become Brahmgianis before they are allowed to go on, and must consult their BOSS's first.
