So today in my school in lunch, i was talking to my Sikh friends. they were all feeling proud about their castes. I giggled and told them the truth and they wouldn't accept it and said the casting system is like Brahim, untouchables,harijans ETC. Not jatts,lubhanas,khatriys ETC. So am i missing out on anything? there were 2 of them both older then me and they always call me a disgrace because i dont live like "how we are supposed to" i am not religious, but my parents are amritdhari and i learn from them. I seriously find my american friends better then them and not make me feel like hanging out with them. But anyways i am getting off topic, Should we be even following this jatt and lobhana stuff?

Short Anwer : No. Sikhi rejects the caste system therefore we should NOT be "this jatt and lobhana stuff".

There is NO caste system in Sikhi, it's a disgrace people are claiming themselves as jatts,etc when Sikhi is open about being against it
