Hukamnama / Maryada

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh

sangat ji, please advice me, which is the correct maryada for taking hukam from guru granth sahib ji maharaj.

one singh told me it is against gurmat to take hukamnama from the right ang of guru granth sahib ji maharaj, but ive seen this happen many times. if this is true, that means 50% of guru granth sahib ji maharaj can not be given as hukamnama.

please inform this moorakh.

From the little i learnt, in the morning a Hukum is taken from the left ang sahib ji (top left, the first shabad or a salok that you have darshan of) , while in the evenings a Hukum is taken from the right ang sahib of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.. i think it happens sehej subhai..

But if anyone else knows exactly what the correct maryada is even i'd be happy to know..

who cares about right and left, that is ritual. Every part of SGGSJ is perfect and pure and can only be beneficial to read and apply to our lives.
