I have to give this to you for being so original. Lol, "bibian don't learn how to tie the dastar, so instead they tie the patka on their kids." So instead of thanking the mothers for looking after the hair of their children so lovingly, washing the hair regularly, combing them regularly, you want them to tie the dastar for them too. The lazy fathers should not even fulfill their duties of teaching the art of tying a turban to their children.

You are being completely unfair. From my post its obvious to see i respect all the bibian that keep the hair of their kids and do all the work required to keep the hair on their heads uncut. I have already accepted this fact and give them much respect for it. In todays time these bibian should be praised because many bibian are cutting their kids hair to take the easiest way out. And the bibian that go beyond both of these type of bibian must be given siropa for keeping the hair on their kids head, taking care of it, and then tying the dastar on their kids head and not falling lazy by tying the patka. And yes bibian that tie the patka must tie the dastar on their young kids head because it is Maharaj Saroop and to not take the kids right to tie a dastar from a young age. As parents are their kids mind, hand, and feet because young kids can't do things for themsleves. Just like the person who misses nitnem must start doing nitnem because its Maharaj hukam. Don't demonize my post as i am not knocking down these bibian, who tie the patka, but telling them to uplift themselves and their kids by tying the dastar on their kids head from a very young age. The youngster will be thankful to his/her mom when they realize how big of a gift their mom gave them. The bibian that tie a dastar themselves will not find it as a hard task to tie the dastar.

And punjabi families are organized, where dads go to work and the mom stays home to take care of the young kids, till they can take care of themselves. So the responsibility falls on the mom's head. You can blame the dads for two days of the week. And if a dad is home when their kids go to school or awake, then they are just as much at fault. There is no targeting going on in my post. And i'd appreciate it, if you don't make it look as if i am.
