Sikhchannel / Sangat Tv Just With Sky Box

One of my friend is moving to a street with Virgin Media which he is planning to take for all 3 services (Landline + TV + BroadBand). He has a old Sky Box, if he just uses the old Sky Box and the new property has Sky Installation, can he just plug it in the Sky Box and SikhChannel / Sangat TV will be available?

If not, what is the way to get SikhChannel and Sangat TV when the prime network is Virgin Media (I know SikhChannel and Sangat TV don't come on Virgin TV).

It should work. Sikh Channel/Sangat TV are part of the Sky freeview channels.

Ok, so no payment to Sky? Just plug in the Sky Box and watch Free View Sky Channels without even the basic Sky subscription of £20/- p.m.?

I gave our old sky box (not HD) to my in laws who were able to plug it in their connection and they watch the free channels on Sky, They don't subscribe to the sky. As long as there's a viewing card in the box and a connection to the dish, it should work.
