World Book Day On 1St March

1st March is World Book Day, where every child is encouraged to read a book. It was started by UNESCO, and this has given me an idea, that we should have a World Sikh Book Day, where every Sikh, of readable age is encouraged to read a book on Sikhi. Encourage this move by asking your local Gurdwara to participate and encourage the Sikhs to beginning the reading of a book on any day coming up soon.

Why not Vasaikhi?

And the book can be read over a period of time suitable to the reader.

I saw this topic and honestly this is one of the most positive things I have seen on here in a long time. Yeah its a good idea and I think our community does really read enough. Writing is the way to get to the youth.
