SANT BABA RANJIT SINGH DHADRIANWALE SPEAK THE FACTS ABOUT BHAI BALWANT SINGH RAJOANA AND GIVE AN IMPORTANT STRONG MESSAGE TO THE KHALSA PANTH

21st March 2012

During a huge Gurmat Samagam in Punjab on 20th March 2012, Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale have given an important message to the Khalsa Panth about India’s proposed ‘hang till death’ sentence on Bhai Balwant Singh Ji Rajoana scheduled for 9:00am (IST), 31st March 2012.

A second Akhand Paath Sahib is currently taking place at Gurdwara Parmeshar Dwar Sahib (Patiala) for the Chardi Kalaa of Bhai Rajoana, rightly considered as a great lion of the Khalsa Panth.

Sant Dhadrianwale secured the support of thousands of Sikhs (and those from other communities) during the Diwaan that Bhai Rajoana must not be hanged. This announcement and the reasons explained behind it was welcomed by the Sangat with cries of “Bole So Nihaal” and every single individual in attendance with their arms raised in the air. Every subsequent Diwaan will now be in the name of Bhai Rajoana in an attempt to show the support Bhai Rajaona has from the Sikhs and why the great warrior must not be given the death penalty by a country which is held to be the ‘world’s largest democracy’.

Mentioning the Central Government of India, Sant Dhadrianwale have said much has already happened in the past. They have said those accused in the 1984 Delhi massacre like Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar are all alive, roaming free and have been given a clean chit. They said the law should be the same for all and not different for minority communities like the Sikhs.

Sant Dhadrianwale spoke about the high Avastha Chardi Kalaa Jeevan of Bhai Rajaona and questioned how he (Sant Dhadrianwale) can even face Bhai Rajoana in jail when we have been able to do very little to stop his death sentence, regardless of the fact Bhai Rajaoana does not want to file any appeal? Bhai Rajoana has said he has done nothing wrong and committed no sin, but simply brought justice for the thousands who have suffered and been murdered in Punjab.

Sant Dhadrianwale have said they do not have the courage to meet Bhai Rajaoana and look at them in the eye while photographs are taken for the media because we have been unable to do anything. “What will we say to him, that we are just giving statements in his support and that is all we can do?” Sant Dhadrianwale said the likes of Bhai Rajoana are the true diamonds of the Panth and we cannot afford to lose such gems. Bhai Rajoana is like a crown on our head who is a living example of a true Saint and Soldier.

Sant Dhadrianwale have said the Jathedar’s of the Takhts now need to initiate a strong plan of action and lead the Khalsa Panth during this time. They have pledged that if the Akaal Takht takes such action, Sant Dhadrianwale , the Jathebandhi and all the Sangat present in each Diwaan numbering hundreds of thousands will follow every instruction and will fill the jails of the country if need be. They have said the entire nation is watching what decision the Jathedar’s will make and how strong that decision will be.

A GLIMPSE INTO THE JEEVAN OF BHAI BALWANT SINGH JI RAJOANA

...translated from the spoken words of Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Ji Dhadrianwale during the special Diwaan on 20th March 2012 held in the name of Bhai Rajoana:

“Bhai Balwant Singh Ji Rajoana...we must simply glimpse into their Jeevan and we will understand them. I recently met two Singhs that have spent time with Bhai Balwant Singh Ji in jail. I have known these Singhs for around 12 years. I used to encourage these Singhs to keep their Kesh and take the Amrit of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji, but they felt they were not ready – although they would state they had an aim to be blessed with Amrit in the future. Circumstances were such that these two Singhs were imprisoned in the same jail as Bhai Balwant Singh Ji. They were sentenced for 3 months and spent most of this time with Bhai Balwant Singh Ji. They do not call Bhai Sahib ‘Balwant Singh’ but they refer to Bhai Sahib Ji as Baba Ji.

Doing Sangat with Bhai Sahib Ji in jail for 3 months totally changed their Jeevan. They entered the jail as Manmukhs and came out as Gurmukhs. I asked them, ‘There are many Singhs in that jail who come out after completing their sentence the same as when they entered, but how did your Jeevan change?’ They replied saying, ‘We shall never remove our Dastaar now and never do Beadbi of our Kesh because we were blessed enough to have the opportunity to do Sangat of Baba Balwant Singh Ji’.

So I asked them further, ‘Tell me what you found inspiring about Bhai Sahib Ji that led to such a drastic change in your Jeevan?’ Their reply was, ‘There are many types of prisoners within that jail that have committed all kinds of offences, but Baba Balwant Singh Ji is different from all, he is a Chardhi Kala Gurmukh who recites Gurbani 24-hours a day and does not let even one second, one breath pass without Naam.’ (Gurmantar Abhiyaas).

It was Bhai Sahib Ji’s Chardhi Kala Jeevan itself that had inspired these two people to become Gurmukhs.

I had this discussion with these two Singhs before Bhai Balwant Singh Ji was sentenced to death and I said to them, as I say now, Bhai Balwant Singh Ji is definitely a true Gursikh filled with Khalsa spirit. There is no doubt in this. Bhai Sahib Ji’s courage was proved later on when we heard their statement. Bhai Sahib Ji did a plea to the Jathedar of Akaal Takht that no appeal to pardon their hanging should be put forward as they shall not ask for forgiveness when there has been no wrongdoing, instead, they want to kiss the noose of death.

This statement in itself will forever become an inspiration for the many generations to come...”

Because no one else has the balls to do it on there own, we are all sheep sorry to say.

Sant Daduwal is also making a strong stance on supporting Bhai Sahib Rajaona. He is leading a lot of the protests and Bhai Sahib only allowed him to vist in jail. About time all the other Sants came out and actively supported Bhai Sahib

    • I was searching igurbani.com which gives correct pronunciation of Gurbani. I can’t remember all of it at once. I guess it relies on more practice, like more Sehaj Paths. The meaning becomes clearer. I have noticed slight variants in it. This could be because it’s written in old Punjabi.
    • Veer Manpreet Singh, a lay preacher, claims that -Sikhs aren't supposed to worship Guru Granth Sahib ji. -We are only supposed to worship God as is written in Guru Granth Sahib ji. -We only "revere" Guru Granth Sahib ji.     He says a lot of other things in this video, some are good refutations of Hindu superstitions, but the reformers often go too far. Anyways, what he is saying about not worshipping Guru Granth Sahib ji is totally wrong. The reason is Guru Granth Sahib ji is Guru. Guru is Satguru. Satguru is God. We worship God. Therefore, we also worship Satguru (Guru Granth Sahib ji).   There are innumerable verses in Gurbani equating God and Guru. The Guru is the Supreme Lord and the Transcendent Master. The Guru floats (saves) the drowning one. p49   ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਏਕੋ ਜਾਣੁ ॥ Know the Guru and God as One. p864   ਗੁਰ ਨਾਲਿ ਤੁਲਿ ਨ ਲਗਈ ਖੋਜਿ ਡਿਠਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡੁ ॥ There is no one at par with the Guru. I have searched and seen the whole universe. p49 (If the Guru is the greatest in the whole universe, shouldn't we worship the Guru?)   I'd like to ask Manpreet Singh what is worship? Any reasonable definition would include obeisance, remembrance, and praise. Those are exactly the same things Gurbani says to do regarding Guru! Ever, ever, I think of the True Guru, and the Guru's feet I brush with my head's hair. p387   Praise: ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਆਪਿ ॥ The Guru himself is the transcendent Lord and the supreme master. Throughout the eight watches of the day, O Nanak meditate thou on the Guru. p387   In fact, Gurbani says the way to find God is to worship (puja) of Guru: ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਧੋਇ ਧੋਇ ਪੂਜਹੁ ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਲਹੁ ਰੇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ Washing and bathing the True Guru's feet, worship thou them. In this way thou shall obtain my Lord Master. Pause. p1118   Could it be any clearer that we are to worship Guru ji?
    • Bro, reciting a shorter Chaupai Sahib is hardly "anti-Dasam". It's fine to argue that the longer Chaupai is more traditional, but the short one isn't anti-Dasam. That's like claiming shorter Rehras is anti-Guru Granth Sahib ji just because there are fewer selections from Guru Granth Sahib. It might not be traditional, but it's not anti-Guru Granth Sahib. I prefer the longer versions, but let's not exaggerate. Every tradition has a slightly different Rehras version. Nanaksar vs Taksal vs Nihangs and so on. The basic template for Rehras is at the beginning of Guru Granth Sahib ji. Later, Chaupai Sahib was added and Anand Sahib always follows as the end of a process. Then some sangats added more saloks to start Rehras and others were added at the end. Some additional selections from Dasam Bani were also added, but it wasn't the same ones for every sangat. The important thing is to not hate on each other for these variations.
    • Umm, so you're upset that this jatha did Chaupai the same way it's being done at Harimandar Sahib for 100 years? Shouldn't you be upset at the manager of Darbar Sahib? I'm not saying that Sikhs who are aware of certain issues shouldn't do the longer Chaupai, but there are only so many battles you can fight. Instead of calling some jatha traitors because they're doing the (for better or worse) "standard" Chauapai published by the SGPC, it would be better to change things from the central point. You can't fault the average Sikh for picking up the average Gutka and doing paath.
    • It's the same here in Toronto. Alot of the gudwaras here are political orientated and get tons of funding from the government-probably want them stay hush hush with all the BS that has been happening with India.  These guys are skewing gurbani. A complaint was sent to a ragi singh a couple of days ago in regards to a hukamnama.
