Kirpan is not only symbolic. It has a purpose as well. It is there to help the oppressed and those in danger. Granted, we don't think of that side of the Kirpan as much, but if you see someone getting mugged or raped in an alley, how will your necklace help?

yea your right yea but if you are playing sport or have to go school which the school does not allow you to wear this you can wear a a small kirpan necklace

You can get small kirpans these days, and theres one especially made for school and work, its apperance is baisiclly a 2 inch kirpan which is nangi ( no cover) and with black rope to it so you can keep it any wear, wheni say that i mean like a gatra, or on ur arm, etc.
