When we do ardas, what do we pray for? Are we meant to pray for things that we require for example good test results or is that materialistic?

Do we pray to Waheguru that we accept his will whatever happens and we will still love waheguru no matter what happens?

We we do Ardaas we are meant to ask for love for Waheguru. That our love for Gurbani and Waheguru increases because where Waheguru is, happiness and peace follow. We are not meant to start listing thanks to people that have made so much in contributions to whatever cause, we are not to ask for materialistic things. Yes Wahegurus Will is the final call but with Wahegurus Grace, we can be forgiven and a better life will be granted if we ask for forgiveness with a full and true heart and only Waheguru will know when you are heart-fully honest.
