GURMAT CAMP SACRAMENTO

The camp starts at 5:00 PM on Friday (SEP 10, 2004)

Youngsters of all ages (6+ yrs old) are invited to develop in themselves the knowledge and spirituality of the Sikh Faith. Previous knowledge of the religion is not required, nor is the Sikh identity (the 5K’s) essential. The only fundamental criterion is interest in the Sikh Faith.

This program is a unique learning experience and there will be lot of fun and learning. Please bring your children and convey this message to all you know.

Our goal is to instill true concept of Sikhi in the youth, in an environment full of fun activities. To achieve this goal we request all participants to respect the following code of conduct.

1. Formal attire for Gurdwara is required. Kurta Pajama or Salvar Kameej is recommended for all participants

2. Respect for all guests, peers and sangat is mandatory.

There will be lot of prizes and raffle drawings during the whole camp

Saturday (9/11)

7.00am - 7:30am Mind and Body Exercise

7.30am - 9:00am Talking to the GURU

9:00am - 10.00am Charging The Batteries

10.00am - 1.00pm Let us learn

1.00pm - 2.00pm Guru Ka Langar

2.00pm - 3.30pm Khalsa Khed Mela, Parent meeting

3.30pm - 5.00pm Movie/Snacks

5.00pm - 7.00pm Rehras Sahib and Kirtan
