Why is that? Why not just American. Like never heard American with European descent. But always AFRICAN american, or NATIVE american etc. Americans do treat all it citizens as Americans, but why prefix your Americaness with the colour of your skin or ancesteral roots if your not white? Like many have been there for 100 years plus.

Was just showing he was oriental, not caucasian. The Punjabi word for oriental is cheena. Unless there is something else.
