Gurmat vs House direction ( vastu shastra)

This topic is being posted in order to help a relative who has been confused and made not to buy a house which he is interested in. So this relative of mine seeked advise of another relative before buying house and they other relative said since this house is facing toward south he would never buy this house because he have known of many cases which are examples of bad luck .

I am completely against this <edited> stupid vastu or fing shui. The relative of mine never ever belived in this stupid stuff and never knew about this stuff. But since the other relative gave them this advise to not to buy this house they are not going to buy it. Since they also call them followers of Guru Nanak and have shardha in Guru Nanak Sahib I want them to have a look at strong condemnation of this directional sh!t according to gurmat.

They also do not want to proceed because they think the other relative might get offended if they do not take his advice which is typically Indian thing.

Ok so here is what I want. Very strong points which can even change the mind of that person who thinks south direction is bad. I can very well prove them wrong with numerous gurbani quotes but I need sangat's help.

ਚਾਰਿ ਕੁੰਟ ਚਉਦਹ ਭਵਨ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਆਪਤ ਰਾਮ ॥

The Lord is pervading in all the four directions and the fourteen worlds.

ਲਾਇਆ ਦੁਰਗੰਧ ਮੜੈ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਗਾ ਜਿਉ ਰੰਗੁ ਕਸੁੰਭ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ॥

They attach their consciousness to the foul-smelling pile of filth, which is transitory, like the fading color of the safflower.

ਖਿਨੁ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਖਿਨੁ ਪਛਮਿ ਛਾਏ ਜਿਉ ਚਕੁ ਕੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਿਆਰਿ ਭਵਾਇਆ ॥

One moment, they are facing east, and the next instant, they are facing west; they continue spinning around, like the potter's wheel.

ਦੁਖੁ ਖਾਵਹਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਸੰਚਹਿ ਭੋਗਹਿ ਦੁਖ ਕੀ ਬਿਰਧਿ ਵਧਾਈ ॥

In sorrow, they eat, and in sorrow, they gather things and try to enjoy them, but they only increase their stores of sorrow.

ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਖਮੁ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ਤਰੀਐ ਜਾ ਆਵੈ ਗੁਰ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੨॥

Generally, south facing houses are more in demand, require less energy (people occupy the main/living room which is also facing south and hence gets more sunlight).

Im like whatever. Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale said that Sikhism is not for weak hearted. The greatest gem that Guru Granth Sahib Ji gives us is that of shaheedi.

I heard in a katha that there are about 82,000 different situations (I may be wrong with the # but its definitely over 70,000) that are considered by Hindus before they step out of their house. Situations such as: leaving at the right time for something; waiting if someone sneezes; if the cat crosses the path etc. Like there different mantras and chantings that i can't get my head across. Im not demeaning Hinduism. If thats their religion then its the best for them. However, if you're a Sikh then the "mool mantar" takes care of everything.

Maybe you should tell your neighbor that if they're going to buy a house that is in a certain direction, then they should keep in their minds thousands of other things and doing things accordingly?
