(Why is this is the Gupt section? Could Admin move it to the Gurbani section as it may elicit more responces.). I read arti-arta from my gutka before Sohila usually once a week. For me its a special bani that I do occassionally as such like Sukhmani Sahib. I do not perform any arti or ritual whilst doing it though.

You can read it anytime after Sri Rehraas Sahib Jee. Other than that, there is no particular Maryada according to Veechar done with the other Gurmukhs.

There is no maryada (rules) for reading Aarti-Aarta, like other Gurbani you can do it while sitting down. Also there is no time limitation, you can do it in the morning or you can do it in the evening. I'm not saying this however, this is the way it's done. Certain groups of people do this while standing up but this doesn't mean others don't do it sitting down, sometimes it's done in the evening and sometimes in the morning. There is no deciding factors such as day or anything that affect how it's done. Read it how you would read Japji Sahib/Rehiraas Sahib at home.
