I was just wondering what are good methods of getting rid of spots on the face... Because i used to have acne but now that it has gone i have marks and spots on my face face... Any help will be grateful

Pigmented blemishes and shallow craters/ scars can occur after extensive or severe acne. The blemishes and to some extent scars diminish slightly with time, but will still be evident. There are no natural ways to deal with this and you must avoid unlicenced parlours or products with no provenance in terms of their claims or safety. If your confidence is affected by appearence, then you may wish to pursue treatments like laser microabrasion and pigment camouflage via a dermatologist. In the UK, this would be via private treatment only and costly. However if you find the appearence is handicapping ie feeling self conscious that for instance, you have felt job interviews etc have been adversly affected because of this, then free treatment via the NHS may be possible, either upon direct referral or through what is known as PCT funded special case referral. Your GP will guide you.

I just dont know what cream to use that will make my skin smooth, becuase i have combination skin which can be both oily and dry... So i dont know what products to use

Combination skin is actually the commonest type. This is not my subject area. The best person to ask would be one of the people that sell such products eg at the Clinique or Dermatologica.

Water is your friend

Drink loads of water every day, make drinking water part of your daily routine. You'll see results will be more effective than any cream etc

yeah i do drink water alot... But i just need a cream of some sort... But thank you anyway

I found a great tip for removing dead skin and blackheads.. All you need to do is get either coconut oil or olive oil, or almond oil and vigorously massage your face for 15 mins, you can do this daily, i usually do this before bed... IT WORKS! you can actually feel your dead skin come off and it does get rid of your blackheads.... In the morning your face is so smooth... Try it

Don't use clinique/skin doctors or other expensive treatments.

Using a simple exfoliant will get rid of dead skin but don't overuse only a few times a week.

You are using coconut oil/olive massage to achieve this same effect but too much overuse of this is not good for combination skin either.

I would recommend ''Bio-oil'' as it is a world famous product now and marvellous.

Also, use sun cream around factor 15 to prevent any permanent marks from your blackheads and scars.
