We can discuss their manmat of going to watch movie (as you perceive it as manmat) among other things when dust settles but at this point or stage we should all support them and sign the petition to fight against action of kicking them out because it has became freedom of liberty /religion issue. As much as I know this family, they are good souls, always doing sangat, going to Asa Ki Vaar, Ransabai Keertan and AKJ keertans.. They went to watch "men of steel" after a long time. They took a break from their daily life and went to watch the movie and I don't see anything bad in this..

The reason they are fighting for this because they don't want any other Sikh to go through the same. they are doing this religious freedom and moreover, Singh was racially profiled as he wore a big turban on his head.

Instead, blaming them for going to movies ( which is not taboo in Sikhi), we must support them as this can happen to us anywhere and anytime

Last time I went to see " Monster University" at cinema with my son does that make me a bad Sikh?
