I Want To Wear A Pagh

Ok, I've started to wear the pagh around home. How long does it take to get used to it?

I mean the feeling of having something on your head for long periods of time.

Well I've been wearing the pagh for over a month now.

I've manged to get a very good new job. So no discrimination on that front.

My mum was supportive of my decision from the start, my dad has come around to the idea as well. Just my sister who seems to dislike it.

Got my first anti pagh comment from an outsider today. Some old buddi relative of mine who I've never met asked me if I would take the pagh off if a girl demanded it. What a idiotic question. Some apne have no ackal. I believe the pagh will be a blessing because it will hopefully ensure that I don't marry some drinking girl!

Overall I'm happy with my look.

This has been my first week wearing the pagh full time (10+ hours a day), in my new job.

Is it normal for the ears to feel hot? What can I do to address this?

Otherwise the pagh has been relatively comfortable, I guess I will get more used to it the more I wear it.

As others said, the most discrimination you will face is from those 'Sikhs' who have forgiven their identity and deep within themselves they know they are wrong but rationalize that they are right.
