I NEED HELP - IT'S KIND OF URGENT

i am trying to do some seva using my computer

and whenever i try to explore any folder with pictures - i see an error

and the whole explorer closes and it goes back to the desktop

if i try to explore (view thumbnails) while opening an image in photoshop,

photoshop shuts off ...

attached is a picture of the error

i was talking about Windows Explorer not Internet Explorer

anyway :(

i performed system restore....

and it did not solve the problem

i still cannot "explore" through the images in any directory

i get an error and explorer freezes

i don't know what caused it and how to solve it.......

yes yes i know, justs added my own experience with this error

o adn do a windows update, that should fix it - just dont get sp2

Dear Khalsa Jee,

(1) Do you get this problem with all image directories? (2) or is it just with a certain directory?

If so (2), this problem is most likely due to a corrupt image file, or a bug in the decoder library for the image. Try opening each file one by one until it crashes and that way you should find the offending file.
