I often wondered why do Christian fundamentalists want to convert Sikhs when our numbers are not even that big compared to other world religions. I used to think it was only the Muslims that wanted to convert our people, yet there is growing evidence there is a serious push by Christian leadership to do the same. We don't have anything against Christians or their faith we do not actively try to convert them they chose to come into sikhi by their own research and initiative. There are no support networks for new converts to Sikhism even thats how crap our current missionary status is. yet for some reason the backward ideologue Christians are hell bent on trying to poison impressionable and naive punjabi Sikhs into their abrahmic faith.

What is it about our faith and the geo-political agenda of Christian leadership in controlling the punjabi population and indian punjab? Because we should all know by how the western world operates it funds groups to destabilise regions around the world for their own economic and political reasons.

Christian prosleytization doesn't proceed from motives of extending the sphere of Western political influence, but from patronizing and condescending notions about non-Christians.

Christian evangelists believe that they are saving the souls of non-Christians by initiating them into the mysteries of their archaic desert religion. In pursuit of this 'greater good', no method is too base. Consequently, poor Sikhs are bribed into forsaking their faith.

I think we Sikhs need to wake up and realize that Christian and Muslim missionaries will never relent in their pursuit of a worldwide hegemony of their respective religions. I think we need to send out our own missionaries to make up the numbers we lose. There are 25 million Sikhs in the world, and over a billion Christians, they can afford to lose people, we simply can't. Moreover, it is our duty to spread the faith, as people who pray for 'Sarbat Da Bhalla'. We wouldn't need to blackmail or bribe them. Once they see how Sikhi preaches complete equality and accommodates reason, the retrograde doctrines of their former religions will immediately lose their luster.

Sikhi doesn't believe in fake miracles so anti-Sikhs are scared of the truth of Sikhi.

Christians have different cemetries and churches for different castes.

But the truth of Sikhi and Vaisakhi 1699 as strong truths to destroy caste is ignored.

Chrsitians and Muslims believe human beings have been around for about 6,000 years and that evolution is a lie.

Sikhi agrees with science and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj already mentions infinite number of planets.

Jesus said he was God. Sikhi says "ajooni sebhang".

God does not need to be born as a powerless baby (Bal Gopal) and wear diapers.

Stop blaming other people. We need to make a change.

There will be no Singh Sabha in Punjab that will bring Sikhi back. It is up to us, those in the west. The diaspora is influential and well established, it has the money, the power, the ability to make a change.

This could be the generation, besides the Gurus, who can make the biggest impact on the future of Sikhi.

Don't rely on other people. Don't sit there posting X Baba said this would happen. Do something about it.

Work on your own Sikhi. Don't rely on some sants interpration of bani. Go look at Guru Ji yourself, listen to your Guru, then live what he tells you. Spread the word through your actions.

The Sikh institutions have failed our people. Once people of all backgrounds were flocking to join Sikhi. So-called low castes saw Sikhi as something that would help destroy inequality. Sikhi empowered people to fight tyranny and injustice. Now it seems as if our institutions are doing the oppressing. Many so-called low castes now feel ignored by our leaders.

Please, those with money, intellectual skills, help movements. Create schools or hospitals in your area. Encourage Sikhi parchar in your area. Inspire people by living the Guru's word.

Singh Sabha wasn't just a political movement. It was an intellectual movement.

This is what we need, we need parchar, we need research.

We need to encourage debate in the panth. If someone has an opposing view on a topic, debate them. Don't start name calling, calling them an athiest or try to call them a non-Sikh. This isn't how anything grows. We need more discussion and debate on bani.

I personally look at it from a strategic geo-political campaign against Sikhs and the Punjab. If we look to the west there is islamic pakistan that is 97% muslim and it borders indian punjab that is 60% Sikh and 30 % hindu and the rest christian and muslims. So what they are trying to do is turn the punjab to christianity so they can have a base to operate against islamic demographics. They tried doing that with the hindu populations but the Hindu nationalists reacted with anger and physically attacked Christian missionaries. This is not about converting people for their religious enlightenment and upliftment it is about converting people at strategic asset and manpower level to do their bidding for various reasons.

Something Sikh leadership should be thinking about instead we have only a few handful of people seeing the bigger people. The christian and islamic missionaries are 2 peas in the same pod they operate on the same level they use the cloak of religious enlighten to further their political geo-political interests.

The reason there are more Christians today is because of the rise of stupid people, I'll give an example: I'm from America the most Christian nation of the developed world, and some of the stuff people from America say is just stupid, because of one man: Jesus Christ. Look at Japan, they're so technically advanced because their faith ISN'T Christianity, look at China, NOT Christian, look at the rise of intelligence in Europe because of the rise of Atheism over Christianity: it makes you stupid if you believe that the Earth was made 10k years ago and believe that a woman was born from the rib of a man.

There is absolutely no ulterior motive behind Christian missionary activity, especially nothing to do with the western governments. This isn't the 19th century, Britain and America don't care one iota about spreading the Gospel. The only reason missionary activity happens is because certain Christian sects (usually weird heterodox ones) are more interested in scoring points for the afterlife by 'saving souls' than in following their own faith to themselves.

And besides, that conspiracy theory makes no sense whatsoever. If the west was able and willing to engage in religious social engineering on a vast scale, they'd be using it in the middle east against the Wahhabi cult rather than going after a tiny corner of India for no reason. Is there any evidence of that? Nope, the Wahhabis are only growing from strength to strength.

The reason missionaries target Sikhs in particular is because our social institutions are weak and we are therefore vulnerable to their tactics. Socially-speaking Sikhs offer very little any more: caste discrimination is rife, religious education is minimal to non-existent and Sikh charitable organisations can't match the western-based missionary leviathans. These are the same factors that lead Christians to pick on low-caste Hindus and the followers of African and Chinese traditional religions too. Notice that in the Islamic world missionaries barely have any success, and in the west people have gotten wise to their tricks and kindly ignore them as the nuisance they are. In all the major western humanitarian charities (even the Christian ones) despise missionaries because they completely wreck legitimate operations by driving away the people they're trying to help.

Please do not re-post the videos produced by missionaries as you're only spreading their propaganda. They also demean their subjects and reduce these human beings to walking adverts for their evangelist's soul-saving prowess.
