Nanaksar/gnnsj And Khalistan

Recommended Posts

I have heard the term Nanaksar and GNNSJ used interchangeably. I was wondering whether they represent the same group, view points and Sants.

In addition, what has been the opinion of Nanaksar Sikhs regarding the Khalistan movement and the problems in Punjab in the 80s?

Do they support the cause of people like Bhai Surat Singh?

In regards to your question of Sants,

Nanaksar = Baba Nand Singh ji

Guru Nanak Nishkam Sevak Jatha = Sant Puran Singh ji

Both were Brahmgianis, they had divine qualities. Such a high avasta is achieved by Wahegurus blessings to very rare blessed souls.

GNNSJ stay out of politics. Giani Amolak Singh after the '84 attack was a staunch critic of GOI and attended some of the marches in London. From what I know they do not mention Khalistan or entertain discussing the movement.
