Shocking. This boy gets attacked in a bus full of people and not one person intervenes to stop what was happening to this kid.

This is exactly why Sikhs should try to live in areas with larger concentration of Sikhs. Safety is in numbers.

He seemed pretty young, (I'm sure nobody was standing up to the bullies).

There was a similar story I have heard recently. This happened in Kenya where a Sikh was shot in the arm while in traffic. This was however an armed robber who took all their belongings including mobile phones. the car was all laden with blood and broken glass. There were thousands of people on the road - no one helped or even offered to help. The police even just smiled in their faces. The British high commission told him he should have gotten travel insurance before visiting the country. Something is seriously going wrong with the world.

When other people get hurt, it is usually a Sikh who steps in to help.

Bit difficult in places like Melbourne where the Sikhs for the most part very recent arrivals and it takes time to develop a community.

Also makes it difficult if you venture out of an established area.
