We're seeing the effects of having uneducated individuals causing such problems in Punjab and now we have youth who are copying our adults and adopting uneducated mentality by supporting these nakli sant/sadhs which are causing so many problems in Sikh Panth.

problem is the panth has swallowed the idea that we are an uneducated people because we rose up from the peasantry but the truth was Guru Sahiban made each of us fit to be kings , educated to the highest standards both in matters of worldly and spiritual spheres . In honesty, the state of education in Sikhs is appalling. Those that do try to pursue Education are instructed to go into Law, Medicine and perhaps engineering. Essentially any job that will pay well and allow parents to flaunt their ego. As a Kaum we need to move into other fields too, Science, Geography, Archaeology, Literature etc.

Even the selected Jathedhar with all due respect are so unaware of world politics or even how other fields are doing is beyond distasteful. Even peering back at History before the time of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji Sikhs were pretty versatile. Bhai Gurdas Ji trained Guru Hargobind Ji in warfare while also being a scribe, poet and writer. Baba Deep singh Ji took part in the Santhiya of Guru Granth Sahib Ji by Guru Gobind Singh ji and then showed the world a true Saint-Warrior by defending Harmandir Sahib from invaders.
