Fate of job

In about 2 months time I'm going to find out if I got an offer from an interview I just went to about 2 weeks ago. However, since then (about a week later) I took the chance to attend an Amrit Sanchar and I was given amrit. Now, I am an amritdhari. Now that I am an amritdhari, am I more likely to get the job if I do more bani and naam? Or are my chances the same? I know arzdas as an amritdhari are always heard and I was just hoping that this would mean the job would be secured. I didn't go to an amrit Sanchar for his job however. I was planning to attend amrit Sanchar well, well before I even thought I would start to look for a job let alone go to an interview for this job.

Please help.

what is meant to happen is according to your efforts then  and the impression you made then . Of course doing paat and simran will change your karams but really we can only really call it simran if it is nishkam  not looking to rewards . Did you partake amrit to get an automatic ticket to sachkhand or to devote your heart and mind to Guru ji's charan  or even to fufill worldly wishes ... be clear if it was some sort of business minded motive this will not be fruitful EVER

As jkvlondon said, bani and naam can change what happens.

Since you thought of receiving amrit way before getting a job, ad long as you remain in that mindset to live a Gursikh jeevan then you will be fine.

The rewards will come them self from how much effort you put in bani and naam. Put 10 percent effort, you get the 10 percent reward. Put 100 percent then anything could happen.

Keep what you want in your heart but don't make it a reward for remaining gurmat. Do an ardaas and mention it.

Hope this makes sense.

When I said I didn't go to an amrit Sanchar because of the job that was totally true. But the timing of amrit was slightly influenced by the job. I was aiming around this time anyway but when I found out about the job and time gap between the job and the reply for the offer I thought it would be a good time to attend seeing as I was going to attend around this time anyway and that it may help with the job. I wasn't doing it for the job, it was for amrit and purely because of that but the timing was slightly influenced. This doesn't mean amrit was for the job because I had decided on amrit a long time before the job so that doesn't even come into account in this situation. Does this change anything? Have I done anything wrong?
