What is Sikhi?

Above all, Sikhee is a path of love for the Beloved,  of surrender to the Beoved, of mental discipline to shed impurities and become immaculate,  through which,  a sikh reaches Wahiguru, and becomes one with Him, that too, by Hs apaar Kirpa.

As simple as that much.

Continuing a bit further with the post above, it could also be added, that Sikhee is the path laid by Guru Sahiban and Bhagat Jan, which if worked upon, can be as useful as a simple ladder, to reach Him.

 

This path mainly consists of meditation on the Lord´s Name, which cleanses us, by destryoing sins commited throughout countless lives, thus the soul becomes pure and merges into the Lord Waheguru Akal Purukh, Himself.

This merging in Him, is the sole purpose of Sikhee, by means of devotion to Him alone, through His Name.  

Prabh Ka Simran, sabh tay oochaa.

 

There are many religions, but only a rare, fortunate individual, is drawn towards Him, through the devotion to His Name, thus, he/she, is truly religious, who concentrates or meditates on His Name within, and merges himself into the Lord Waheguru..
