HAHAHA.. good thing for us.. Our turban protect us from dangerous radiowaves.. and NOW who say our turban has no use.. :nihungsmile:

==================

LONDON: Parents are pampering children as young as five with mobile phones, prompting new health and safety fears.

Industry figures reveal primary schoolchildren are the fastest-growing market for mobile phones with more than 400,000 owning a handset.

One in nine (11) children aged five to nine have a mobile phone, double the number two years ago and up from a mere 2 three years ago.

The figures, compiled from industry sources by the consultancy mobileYouth, comes as the government has embarked on a study into potential health risks to the young.

The government expert overseeing the research has advised against young children using mobile phones for anything other than short calls because there is a greater risk of radiowaves penetrating their thinner skulls.

Head teachers have also expressed alarm at the potential for the children falling victim to crime. David Hart, general secretary of the National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT), said: "The younger the child, the more vulnerable they are going to be to their phones being stolen."

The mobile phone industry maintains it does not target under-16s. However, the adult phone market is stagnating and companies have created a range of gimmicks- fancy ringtones replicating the latest pop sensation or football anthem and replaceable fascias featuring

Winnie the Pooh, Harry Potter and Spider-Man and video games- that appeal to young consumers.

Hey if we can really scientifically prove that our turbans protect us from these microwaves.......................we can promote on wearing turbans and maybe Sikhi

And I am serious . There shouldbe an epidemeological study where we divide people in 2 populations- a turban wearing group and a non turban wearing group. And then we can see relative brain neoplasia rates in 2 groups

Hope it's in turban wearing peoples favour.

Hopefully I will do the study when I become a doctor completely
