God saved Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji from a fever

In these tough times with people are dying from the coronavirus, the speed to which it is spreading cannot be controlled and doctors/scientists are unable to find a cure for this virus.  We as Sikhs should keep a high spirits through Gurbani.  A few weeks ago I was reading through shabads and I came across a shabad on who cured Hargobind (our sixth Guru when his father Sri Guru Arjun Dev ji was the Guru) from a fever.  There are four different shabads on Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji being cured.  I will post all of them.  There are many people who are breaking the faith of the Sikhs in Vaheguru.   Don't fall into the trap.  Follow the direction of doctors.  The coronavirus is not to be taken lightly.   Take medication if you are sick.  Most importantly don't give up on your faith in Gurbani/Vaheguru.   Listen to what Satguru has to say:

ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
Sorat'h, Fifth Mehla:

ਬਖਸਿਆ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸਰਿ ਸਗਲੇ ਰੋਗ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਨੇ (ਜਿਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਉੱਤੇ) ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੋਗ ਉਸਨੇ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ।
The Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord, has forgiven me, and all diseases have been cured.

ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀ ਸਰਣੀ ਉਬਰੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਗਲ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
ਜੇਹੜੇ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ । ਗੁਰੂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਸਵਾਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।੧।
Those who come to the Sanctuary of the True Guru are saved, and all their affairs are resolved. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਜਨਿ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਨਾਮ ਅਧਾਰਿ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਜਿਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ, ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਵਿਚ (ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਰਿਆ),
The Lord's humble servant meditates in remembrance on the Naam, the Name of the Lord; this is his only support.

ਤਾਪੁ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਅਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਤਾਪ ਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ।ਰਹਾਉ।
The Perfect True Guru extended His Mercy, and the fever has been dispelled. ||Pause||

ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਵਿਦੁ ਗੁਰਿ ਰਾਖਿਆ ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ (ਭਾਈ)! (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ) ਅਸੀ (ਭੀ) ਸਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ । ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਹੀ ਤਾਪ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾਇਆ ਹੈ ।
So celebrate and be happy, my beloveds - the Guru has saved Hargobind.

ਵਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਰਤੇ ਕੀ ਸਾਚੁ ਸਬਦੁ ਸਤਿ ਭਾਖਿਆ ॥੨॥੧੮॥੪੬॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ । ਉਸ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ (ਹੀ) ਉਚਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ । (ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ) ਸਹੀ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ (ਠੀਕ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ) ।੨।੧੮।੪੬।
Great is the glorious greatness of the Creator, O Nanak; True is the Word of His Shabad, and True is the sermon of His Teachings. ||2||18||46||

ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
Sorat'h, Fifth Mehla:

ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ਹੋਆ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ (ਮੇਰਾ) ਸਹਾਈ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ,
My True Guru is my Savior and Protector.

ਧਾਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਾਥ ਦੇ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਵਿਦੁ ਨਵਾ ਨਿਰੋਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
(ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੇ (ਬਾਲਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ) ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਹੁਣ ਬਾਲਕ) ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ-ਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
Showering us with His Mercy and Grace, God extended His Hand, and saved Hargobind, who is now safe and secure. ||1||Pause||

ਤਾਪੁ ਗਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਲਾਜ ਰਖਾਈ ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਬਾਲਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦਾ) ਤਾਪ ਲਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ ।
The fever is gone - God Himself eradicated it, and preserved the honor of His servant.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਤੇ ਸਭ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਂਈ ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਤੋਂ (ਮੈਂ) ਸਾਰੇ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਮੈਂ (ਸਦਾ) ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ (ਹੀ) ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ।੧।
I have obtained all blessings from the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; I am a sacrifice to the True Guru. ||1||

ਹਲਤੁ ਪਲਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦੋਵੈ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਹਮਰਾ ਗੁਣੁ ਅਵਗੁਣੁ ਨ ਬੀਚਾਰਿਆ ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ ਜੇਹੜਾ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪੱਲਾ ਫੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਵਾਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਗੁਣ ਜਾਂ ਔਗੁਣ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ ।
God has saved me, both here and hereafter. He has not taken my merits and demerits into account.

ਅਟਲ ਬਚਨੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਫਲ ਕਰੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥੨॥੨੧॥੪੯॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ—) ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! ਤੇਰਾ (ਇਹ) ਬਚਨ ਕਦੇ ਟਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ (ਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ ਦਾ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਖਾ ਹੈ) । ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੱਥ (ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ ।੨।੨੧।੪੯।
Your Word is eternal, O Guru Nanak; You placed Your Hand of blessing upon my forehead. ||2||21||49||

ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
Sorat'h, Fifth Mehla:

ਤਾਪੁ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੇ ॥
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਵਾਈ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਤਾਪ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
The Perfect Guru has dispelled the fever.

ਵਾਜੇ ਅਨਹਦ ਤੂਰੇ ॥
(ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇ, ਮਾਨੋ) ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਵਾਜੇ ਵੱਜਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ ।
The unstruck melody of the sound current resounds.

ਸਰਬ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕੀਨੇ ॥
ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ 
God has bestowed all comforts.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਆਪਿ ਦੀਨੇ ॥੧॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ 
In His Mercy, He Himself has given them. ||1||

ਬੇਦਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਗਵਾਈ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਭੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ) ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਹਰੇਕ) ਪੀੜਾ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ।ਰਹਾਉ।
The True Guru Himself has eradicated the disease.

ਸਿਖ ਸੰਤ ਸਭਿ ਸਰਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਆਨੰਦ-ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੋਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ 
All the Sikhs and Saints are filled with joy, meditating on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||Pause||

ਜੋ ਮੰਗਹਿ ਸੋ ਲੇਵਹਿ ॥
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ) ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ 
They obtain that which they ask for.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪਣਿਆ ਸੰਤਾ ਦੇਵਹਿ ॥
ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਆਪ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ) ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ 
God gives to His Saints.

ਹਰਿ ਗੋਵਿਦੁ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਰਾਖਿਆ ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਬਾਲਕ) ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ (ਭੀ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ (ਆਪ) ਬਚਾਇਆ ਹੈ 
God saved Hargobind.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਚੁ ਸੁਭਾਖਿਆ ॥੨॥੬॥੭੦॥
) ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ—) ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ।੨।੬।੭੦।
Servant Nanak speaks the Truth. ||2||6||70||

ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
Bilaaval, Fifth Mehla:

ਸਗਲ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਕੀਆ ਪਰਮੇਸਰਿ ਅਪਣਾ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਸਮ੍ਹਾਰਿਆ ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨ ਜਾਣੋ ਕਿ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੁੱਢ-ਕਦੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ (ਭਗਤਿ-ਵਛਲ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ) ਸੁਭਾਉ ਸਦਾ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, 
The Transcendent Lord has brought bliss to all; He has confirmed His Natural Way.

ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਰਪਾਲਾ ਬਿਗਸੇ ਸਭਿ ਪਰਵਾਰਿਆ ॥੧॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੇਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ ਸੁਖ-ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਵਾਰ (ਸਾਰੇ ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦ੍ਰੇ ਭੀ) ਆਨੰਦ-ਭਰਪੂਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ।੧।
He has become Merciful to the humble, holy Saints, and all my relatives blossom forth in joy. ||1||

ਕਾਰਜੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਸਵਾਰਿਆ ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਲੋਕ ਤਾਂ ਦੇਵੀ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ । ਪਰ ਵੇਖੋ, ਹਰਿਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਚਕ ਦੇ ਤਾਪ ਤੋਂ ਅਰੋਗਤਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਹ ਵੱਡਾ) ਕੰਮ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਿਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ । 
The True Guru Himself has resolved my affairs.

ਵਡੀ ਆਰਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਕੀ ਸੂਖ ਮੰਗਲ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਬੀਚਾਰਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
(ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ) ਹਰਿਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਲੰਮੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, (ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹਰਿਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ) ਸੁਖ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
He has blessed Hargobind with long life, and taken care of my comfort, happiness and well-being. ||1||Pause||

ਵਣ ਤ੍ਰਿਣ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਏ ਸਗਲੇ ਜੀਅ ਸਾਧਾਰਿਆ ॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਸਾਰੀ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ, ਤਿੰਨੇ ਹੀ ਭਵਨ ਹਰੇ-ਭਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਰਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ । 
The forests, meadows and the three worlds have blossomed forth in greenery; He gives His Support to all beings.

ਮਨ ਇਛੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ਪੂਰਨ ਇਛ ਪੁਜਾਰਿਆ ॥੨॥੫॥੨੩॥
(ਜੇਹੜੇ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ) ਉਹ ਮਨ-ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਮੁਰਾਦਾਂ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਾਮਨਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਬੱਸ! ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਲਿਆ ਕਰੋ) ।੨।੫।੨੩।
Nanak has obtained the fruits of his mind's desires; his desires are totally fulfilled. ||2||5||23||
