Feels awesome to see another singh or singhni, especially when your used to everybody staring at you. In america some people are still very aggressive toward turbans.

I must admit I was so happy the first time another gursikh in Brasil , despite the many visits I had made previously to visit in-laws ...and he was so happy too (boys in tow with dastaars) I guess it's like a little feeling of 'home' whereever you are. My kids watch TV or go somewhere and it's 'there a singh , there's a singhni quick quick look' gotta love Guru ji's kirpa

People don't stare at you much in the UK but sometimes, where there's not a large Indian community people just think that your either a religious nutter or going to be a freak lol hence their not very interested to talk to you

This is what my family does lol

LOL we do that too

I would not tell :p
