   Jagjot Singh Childhood I was born and raised in Ottawa, to a typical Punjabi family. Parents were not very religious but I think they were just a bit confused about the whole thing. So from a young age my parents had my brothers and my hair cut and they gave the typical reasons, you will not find a job, get teased.
