If the local gurudwara behave in such a bad way, Tables chairs ? taking the sggs to hotels with the approval of the committee, pls don’t say they don’t know. Mc D.. where food will be provided later.? I have been to quit a few gurudwara’s around my area and it seems that 1 is doing this and another is doing that, so I stopped going there !. I did go to the one in Southall but that’s more involved in how many patths it can do, I pay th…

One of my friends who was working as a software developer in Canada recently left his job and started driving a truck. He made friends with a punjabi truck driver and went with him on one of his trips. He liked it so much that he left his software job. He says that trucking is a much better job as you can listen to Gurbani kirtan while driving and you can also see the countryside. Is trucking a better job than software for a person wanting a spiritual lifestyle?????

I searched a number of turban training tutorials on web, and mostly all the results were showing the modern style dastaar which is also called 'Thokvi Pagg'. On the contrary, when we take a look at pictures of our sikh gurus they are not wearing …

It doesn't take most people too long to realise you can be loyal without being honest. Yet history is rife with examples of people who were loyal when, honestly, they knew better. The most sensational example of this is, of course, the Nazi's, but the concept hits a little closer to home than that. Loyalty will always be valued over honesty by those in a position of authority (be it political, religious, secular businesses or social groups) simply because no one wants to be told they're wrong. We instinctively and inherently resent honest notions that force us to justify ourselves. And so, our natural sense of values are topsy-turvy. Someone that's loyal is seen as m…

reflect at these both situations; someone who is sick with a deadly disease, but s/he doesn't know they are sick and are going to die because of it(and the disease slowly killing him/her) and someone who know they are sick with a deadly disease , yet s/he ignores it(instead of treating it) and continue to live their life ,believing nothing will happen to them which situation is worse?
